Why exercise is good
Fitness is important for human anatomy. You stay fit, boost endorphins, & release dopamine. So really fitness can make you feel like a champ! More benefits include lowering blood pressure and cholesterol, you tone your muscles and test your joints. Most important fitness reduces body fat, next thing you know you're a sexy beast walking around.
For every physical aspect there is the mental aspect of healthy living. Not only do you get a natural high from all the chemicals released in your brain but you also build your self-esteem. Everyone wants to be sure of themselves and personal fitness will help you along the way. If you want to lose weight, then you can't be lazy. Get up and do something… Because, when it's all said and done diet will not work with out proper exercise.
Quick work out tips
Drink water to stay hydrated and train your body how to handle the intake of H20. Eight to twelve glasses of water daily should to the trick. Don't forget to pump up with fluids during your workout. Wear loose, comfortable, breathable clothing during your work out. You don't want to constrict movement. That will pretty much drive you crazy and you can loose interest. Some people can't stand to wear jewelry because it makes them feel Closter phobic. Don't be a dummy and jump right into your work out. It's imperative to get a good proper stretch in before you start pushing pavement. You don't want to tear any ligaments or pull your hammies. So be sure to stretch.
What you should know about stretching your muscles
Stretching can be a form of relaxation. Hello have you heard of Yoga. All you do is stretch and flex. By stretching your muscles not only do you relax your muscles but you reduce the risk of strains and pains. Relaxing can also strengthin your muscle threshold. So you know the basics stretch before you work out. Stretching several times during the day (like when you get out of bed right?) keeps you limber and allows you to perform better.
The Bitter Diet
Okay it's all over the place, diet this and diet that. But it's so true that diet is key when you workout. Dieting goes together like peas and carrots… One component will not work with out the other. So stop trying to find the lazy man's solution and getting some miracle pill to slap the fat off your butt. You have to eat right, and exercise.
Minimize your fat intake, particulary the sat fats and trans fats. How do you do that? This is important… Eat Fruits and Veggies. Get your daily dose of protein from eggs, dairy and meat (eat red meat sparingly please) So what do you need for energy during your workout? This is where the whole grains, pasta, and rice come in to play. They have the carbs to keep your body in a good position to endure all your workouts. Use the food pyramid as a reference tool. Dieting is building on the right portions of nutrients so that when you get to the top you don't have to feel lousy or guilty for eating a bucket of Ice-cream, or a dozen chocolate chip cookies, or whatever it is you crave.
How to stay Motivated
One of the biggest problems most people have when it comes to working out is staying focused. Sometimes we need a little push to move forward and develop health work out habits. Do you have a workout buddy? What if you don't want a workout buddy? Then pick a Gym that has a trainer that can fit your needs. Gyms have all kinds of classes. Go to Gyms around your town and pick up a few of their monthly schedules to see what classes are offered. BAMMMO! That solves that problem now you have something to build from
Be sure you don't hit up a hole-in-the-wall gym. You want true blue professionals helping you. You would hire a plumber to fix your car would you? So be sure to check credentials and certifications of the trainers, or leaders at that gym. If you need help with dieting that is compatible with your body type and work out style then get with the gym's nutritionist. They are usually stoked to have someone take interest.
Okay so you need to diet right, and workout too. So get with a program. Kick boxing, running, muscle building (pushing iron/lifting some weights and stuff Did you know that prisoners use garbage bags filled with tap water to use as their weights?) Shoot some hoops for some good cardio, racquetball, tennis, biking etc are all great workouts to start out with to get your blood flowing to your muscles.
Take note of all the reasons why YOU need to work out to stay health and fit. Remember workout partners are great to have to help you push yourself. If your board, get your iPod to kill time with music. Track your work outs to show off your progress to your lazy spouse…
